Terms of Service
The terms you agree to when you engage us. Last updated 19 October 2026.
These terms apply to services provided by Qibby Tech Services (SSM 202503214464 (RA0127307-P)), a business registered in Malaysia. Engaging us for any service means you accept them.
1. Ownership and authorisation
We duplicate access cards only for the person who owns them or who is authorised by the owner to hold them. Before any duplication you confirm that you are that person, and we may ask for supporting evidence such as a tenancy agreement or staff pass.
For bulk card supply, you confirm that the blank cards are for an access system you own, manage or are authorised to work on, and that you will only enrol and use them on that system.
We reserve the right to decline any job, without explanation, where ownership or authorisation cannot be reasonably established. You are responsible for ensuring that duplicating your card does not breach your tenancy agreement, employment contract, or building rules. Some managements restrict this contractually even though it is lawful.
2. Duplication service
- Not every access card can be duplicated. Encrypted cards are assessed individually, and we will tell you before you come to our meetup location.
- Where we are unable to produce a working duplicate, you are entitled to a full refund within 1 month, the same period as our warranty.
- You test the duplicate yourself on your building's reader. If it does not work, the satisfaction guarantee below applies.
- Prices quoted are per access card and inclusive unless stated otherwise. Travel outside our published meetup points may attract a fee, quoted in advance.
- Delivery is charged at RM1 per km, anywhere. Courier shipping is priced by location and weight.
3. Satisfaction guarantee
If a duplicate we supplied does not work with the access system it was made for, bring it back within 30 days and we will refund you in full, or replace the card until it works.
Please read: what this guarantee does not cover
- Cards that stop working because the building changed, upgraded or re-keyed its system
- Cards that are damaged, cut, drilled or exposed to heat
- Access cards deactivated by management
- Cards damaged by their owner, and any card after the 1 month warranty ends: these have to be bought again
Anti-passback: if an anti-passback mechanism stops your duplicate from working, you get a full refund, but the card must be returned to us first.
4. Bulk and commercial supply
- Cards are supplied as plain white PVC cards or in sticker form only. A custom printed serial number may carry a small extra charge.
- Quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
- Lead times quoted are working days from order confirmation and are estimates made in good faith, not guarantees.
- You test the cards on your own system when they arrive. Cards that do not work must be reported within 30 days of delivery and will be replaced.
- Shipping is priced by location and weight, within Malaysia and overseas.
- Title to goods passes on full payment. Deposits on custom orders are non-refundable once production begins.
5. IT services
- Scope, deliverables and price are agreed in writing before work starts. Work outside that scope is quoted separately.
- You are responsible for providing access, credentials and content needed to do the work.
- For data recovery we make reasonable professional efforts but cannot guarantee recovery. Assessment findings are shared before any charge is incurred.
- Security testing is performed only on systems you own or are demonstrably authorised to test, under a written scope agreed in advance.
- Unless otherwise agreed, intellectual property in bespoke work passes to you on full payment; we retain rights in our own pre-existing tools and libraries.
6. Payment
Walk-in services are payable on completion by cash, DuitNow QR, bank transfer or SPayLater. Commercial accounts may be invoiced against a purchase order on agreed terms. Overdue invoices may be subject to suspension of further work.
7. Liability
Our liability for any claim arising from a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of access, loss of business or costs imposed by a third party such as building management. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
